Praiano is one of the most characteristic Amalfi Coast's centres, for its special position in the picturesque coast's corner, opening on the sea, situated between the famous Amalfi and Positano towns. The small village is divided in two areas of which the first one is situated on the sea and is characterized by wonderful natural bays, such as the famous "La Praia", and the second upper one, characterized by unrivalled overviews, welcomes the centre of the village.
VILLA DIOMEDEA, a charming villa of about 400 sqm, lies in the upper zone of Praiano in a special position to enjoy the unrivalled overview made of an incredible view of the sea, the cost, the "Li Galli" Island and the Capri's Faraglioni.
VILLA DIOMEDEA, recently restructured and furnished in antique style with a special attention reserved to the small architectural details, making it an unique and welcoming residence, is divided into two levels and is equipped with modern comforts (video surveillance system, satellite TV, stereo system, air conditioning, heating system, fireplace, swimming pool, sauna, idro-massage bathtub).
VILLA DIOMEDEA is directly reachable from the road and it disposes of a space for two vehicles, inside the entrance's gate.
The ground floor opens itself in a large room, lighted up by a wonderful arched window with a special sea's and coast's view, with a spacious equipped kitchen (dishwasher, fridge, freezer, oven, microwave oven, slicer) and a laundry (washing machine, tumble dryer). A large arch connects the first room to the broad and bright dining room, furnished with table, chairs, a romantic fireplace, lighted up by a large arch door/window, opening on a wonderful terrace (about 25 mq.) framed by 2 arches, which filters through a sensational view of the sea. The dining room is also provided of 1 bathroom (basin, bidet, toilet) and of a small spiral staircase, leading to a small office.
From the dining room is possible to enter in the large living room including a loft with a double bedroom with balcony opening on the pool. On the same floor a bathroom with sauna and shower.
The upper floor puts up the night space composed of:
1 single bedroom with television and shower room en suite,
1 double bedroom with LCD satellite TV and a large balcony, opening on the broad terrace/solarium with sea view,
1 twin bedroom with LCD satellite TV and a balcony, opening on the broad terrace/solarium with sea view,
1 bathroom with idro massage bathtub,
1 door/window with the access to the pool and the garden.
VILLA DIOMEDEA is provided of external spaces too, including the swimming pool (mt. 7 x mt.3; depth mt. 1,5) with its equipped solarium terrace and a large terrace equipped (wooden table and chairs, pergola, barbecue, oven for pizza, long brickwork bench, sun beds) to make pleasant outside lunches and offering the most sensational view.
At guest's disposal there is a rustic cellar too, situated under the kitchen.
The VILLA DIOMEDEA's guests can simply reach on foot or by car the near centre of Praiano, with its services (Bar, Grocer's shop, Post office, Chemist), and they can reach on foot (about 15 min.) or by car/bus the wonderful natural bay "La Praia" with its special characteristic Restaurants opening directly on the sea.
The most interesting Amalfi Coast's sites such as Positano, Amalfi, Ravello are simply reachable by car or by public transport service, SITA, while the famous Capri, Ischia and Procida Islands are reachable by the Amalfi's or Positano's maritime connections.

The unique scenery of the wonderful villa will be the perfect frame to the original Cooking Classes offered by the very professional and welcoming staff of Villa Diomedea.
You will have the chance to choose among a list of three original theme dinners that will guarantee you to take part in the realization of the delicious and traditional plates and to taste them.
After cooking the plates you will enjoy your special dinner inside the beautiful villa's living room or in the outside panoramic villa's patio, enlightened by candles.

1) Fish Dinner
You will take part to the realization of a complete and delicious fish dinner (from the antipasto to the dessert).

2) Neaopolitan Dinner
