The Dimora Storica is an ancient luxury house of Positano, pearl of the Amalfi Coast. It was built as an Episcopal residence, in 1716, in baroque age;  it was enriched by particular objects from Middle East and other parts of the world, thanks to the fact that Positano was situated along the main road of spices and silk. The merchants  stop here, fascinated by the magic atmosphere of the town, leaving not only works of art, but a mix of cultures of ancient populations. The Dimora Storica shows this heritage among the painted ceiling, the lacquered doors, the inlaid-wood furniture, the stucco-works and the ancient laces hand-made by the master craftsman of that time. Since '900 Positano became the alcove of artists and literary men like Edward Ghillausen and Eva Maria Vivaldi . They  gave ospitality to a lot of important people in Dimora Storica. Guests can reach Dimora Storica from the main road SS Amalfitana by a road and then down  a flight of steps. After  the entrance opens wide driveway that leads to the house and detached there is a laundry room equipped. This ancient building is composed by four floors and  two entrance: one on the fourth floor, with a  garden, and one on the second floor.The fourth level consists of  a guest room with a bed of one and half and a bathroom with shower, a double room with sea view, ensuite bathroom with shower, another double room with sea view, ensuite bathroom with shower, a terrace equipped with chairs and sun beds and garden. Third level: two sea view suites, composed each by a bedroom and a sitting room, ensuite bathroom, with a terrace. Second floor: dining room and sitting room with desk, pc, fax, telephone and printer. There is a  kitchen with fireplace,  a central hob, two owens, one of which is a wood owen for pizza, a kneader, a coffee machine, two fridges, a freezer. There always  is a chef at the disposal of guests. The kitchen  is connecting with a dining room with a six seats table. Kitchen and dining room opens on a wide sea view terrace equipped with tables, chairs and electric curtians. First floor: spa with private chapel, heated pool, terrace  with fountain, turkish bath, sauna, three spa showers, relax room with plasma satellite tv.
